We currently have openings for Postdoctoral Research Fellows. The fellow will work on projects broadly related to privacy-preserving data management, data analysis, and trustworthy AI. I can also host the application of JSPS International Postdoctoral Fellowships if the research topic aligns with our interests.

For prospective Ph.D. students , you need to get in touch with me and get the permission to apply for our lab. Doctoral students will be provided research assistant opportunities with stipend and supported in applying for JSPS DC fellowship. The students should have a Master’s degree and research experience in related fields (PETs, ML, or statistics), since it is challenging to complete a good Ph.D. dissertation in three years without related experience (please apply for Master’s course if you do not have relevant skills but would like to do Ph.D. research with me).
For prospective Master’s students, please send me your cv, research plan, transcripts in advance before your application. For international students, it is recommended to apply for International Graduate Program (C) since the summer entrance exam is very competitive (and you need to answer the problems in Japanese). Please also consider external scholarships. Excellent students will be provided research assistant opportunities.

For professors, postdocs, or senior PhD students, please check the information for accepting visiting researchers and JSPS International Fellowships (this prestigious program is ranging from doctoral student to professor levels). For outstanding students, financial support can be provided. Please note that, it’s preferred to establish research collaborations prior to the visit.
