For prospective Ph.D. students , you need to get in touch with me and get the permission to apply for our lab. Doctoral students will be provided research assistant opportunities with stipend and supported in applying for JSPS DC fellowship or other scholarship. The applicants should have a Master’s degree and publications in top tier conferences or journals (e.g., CORE-A, CCF-B, or higher level) and in related areas (e.g., Security, ML, AI, Database, Data Mining). Please apply for Master’s program if you do not have relevant publications or skills but would like to do a Ph.D. with me. We also accept students with CSC scholarship (for “攻读博士学位研究生 in Chinese, please see IGP-B Early Application, or for “联合培养博士研究生” in Chinese, please see non-degree visiting programs), Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship, or the Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE or DIKTI) scholarship.
For prospective Master’s students, international students are recommended to apply for International Graduate Program (C) (IGP-C program). Please also consider external scholarships. Excellent students will be provided research assistant opportunities. Successful candidates should possess a strong academic record, such as a high GPA (e.g., >3.5 on a 4.0 scale) or a top ranking (e.g., within the top 10%). Additionally, they should demonstrate proficiency in English (e.g., TOEFL score > 90) or have verifiable research experience in relevant topics or from prestigious universities.
Note: Our school does not accept applications of “research students” (研究生 in Japanese).

For professors, postdocs, or senior PhD students, please check the information for accepting visiting researchers and JSPS International Fellowships (this prestigious program is ranging from doctoral student to professor levels). For outstanding students, financial support can be provided. Please note that, it’s preferred to establish research collaborations prior to the visit.
